Paradise City, an integrated resort in Incheon, announced on Monday that it has partnered with China's largest online travel agency Ctrip to introduce "luxury K-travel" packages targeting China's largest holidays, National Day and next year's Chinese New Year.
This move aims to actively attract affluent Chinese tourists, who are big spenders, as group tourism from China to Korea resumes. On Ctrip's leading live commerce platform "Boss livestream show," a live broadcast from Paradise City will be exclusively aired on Sept. 8.
The offerings include the deluxe and suite rooms of Paradise City's main hotel, the well-known villa featured as the filming location for Netflix's "Single's Inferno," and the luxury boutique hotel "Art Paradiso" where all rooms are designed as suites. Additionally, Paradise Casino is developing travel packages for Chinese customers and hosting various K-culture events.
"The VIP drop amount (total chip purchase) at Paradise's four casinos more than doubled in the second quarter of this year compared to the first quarter," a Paradise City source said. "The scale of Chinese group tourism is expected to grow even larger as it resumes."
