LG’s front-load washer selected as best by Consumer Reports

LG Electronics Inc.'s front-load washers have seized the top four spots in the US consumer review conducted by Consumer Reports, earning the title of Best Front-Load Washers.

According to industry sources. LG's top machines scored ratings between 87 and 85 points.

In the front-load washer category, Samsung Electronics Co's clinched the sixth position with 81 points.

Consumer Reports' evaluation, based on comprehensive consumer surveys, LG's front-load washers were praised for excellent washing performance, gentle fabric treatment, and unbeatable brand confidence.

LG Electronics' top-ranked washing machine distinguished itself with its washing performance, reliability, and energy and water efficiency. It also received notable appraisals for its low noise and vibration levels.

LG's inverter direct drive motor, which connects the motor directly to the drum, earned accolades for its substantial reduction in noise and energy consumption.

LG's preeminence extended into the high-efficiency top-loading washing machines category, with their products capturing the first through third positions, achieving scores between 84 and 81 points.

Consumer Reports formulates these rankings based on a combination of consumer surveys and its own independent testing. The surveyed consumers are actual users of the appliances and other products sold in the US.
