Korea Ginseng Corp. (KGC), wholly owned by South Korean tobacco giant KT&G Corp., will unify its red ginseng brand identity (BI) as JUNG KWAN JANG.
So far, the brand has been recognized under different names: Jung Kwan Jang in South Korea, Cheong Kwan Jang in the English-speaking world, and "正官庄" in China.
The decision to unify the BI comes in response to issues with mixed Korean and English letters and differing pronunciations across countries.

The new logo incorporates a simple design that marries tradition and modernity. While it retains the original unique color, its readability has been improved. The existing emblem logo with Korean letters will remain in use.
Starting this month, the new brand design will be sequentially applied to some of Jung Kwan Jang's upcoming new products.
