Hyundai E&C to develop future residential model All Life-care House

South Korea's Hyundai Engineering & Construction (Hyundai E&C) has announced plans to create a future residential model, the All Life-care House, designed to prolong the healthy lifespan of its inhabitants.

Hyundai E&C reported on Thursday that it has established a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the US-based leading global life science firm Thermo Fisher Scientific and South Korea's gene analysis provider Macrogen.

The alliance aims to pioneer a future housing model based on genetic analysis and advanced health care services.

Under this initiative, the trio will synergize efforts to cultivate Hyundai E&C's life care services tied to a gene analysis.

The project envisions the development of tailored health services for Hyundai E&C's residential complexes, delivery of dedicated gene testing equipment and solutions, arrangement of specific items for gene analysis services, and combined creation of future health-centric housing models.

Hyundai E&C is setting sights on constructing the All Life-care House model, a residential concept that focuses not just on residents' individual health management, but also on overall life quality within the living space.

The company aims to furnish medical services such as bespoke diet and exercise management, sleep and beauty services, alongside emergency response in collaboration with local hospitals to ensure comprehensive care for residents in any situation.
