S.Korea's Com2verse releases metaverse virtual office

South Korean game company Com2uS Corp. announced on Wednesday that its metaverse subsidiary, Com2Verse, has released a YouTube video showcasing the virtual office that it plans to commercialize in the second quarter of this year.

The virtual office shown in the video was developed earlier this year and is currently undergoing detailed design and usability improvements. Com2Verse plans to launch the office for both businesses and individuals in the second quarter of this year.

In addition to the virtual office, Com2Verse plans to expand its business into the meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) sector in the third quarter of this year. It also plans to further expand its business through metaverse services from several partner companies in the first half of 2024.

Com2Verse has entered into technical and business collaborations with over 20 companies in various fields, including Microsoft Korea and Selvas AI, to establish an advanced metaverse office environment.

"Com2Verse has been focusing on planning and developing metaverse services for the past year since our incorporation, and we are now ready to launch our first commercial service," said Com2Verse CEO Lee Kyung-il.

"We have attracted 16 billion won ($12 million) in investment from major companies such as Hana Financial Group, Kyobo Book, Kyowon Group and SK Networks Co., acknowledging the significant five-fold increase in our company's value since our establishment."
