Starting Feb. 1, South Korea's budget carrier Air Busan Co. will add a daily flight to its route linking the nation's biggest port city of Busan to Osaka, Japan, raising the total to three per day to boost convenience for Korean travelers, the company said on Wednesday.
Among airlines serving Gimhae airport, Air Busan became the first carrier to run Busan and Osaka route in July last year.
Air Busan currently operates flight services to four locations: Fukuoka, Osaka, Sapporo, and Tokyo.
"Osaka is a popular overseas travel destination with a reservation rate of more than 90% for the Lunar New Year holidays. From next month, more travelers will be able to visit Osaka on a convenient schedule," said an Air Busan official.
