Aekyung Industrial said on Thursday that it has obtained green technology certification from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation for its eco-friendly kitchen detergent manufacturing technology.
The technology relates to the manufacturing of an eco-friendly kitchen detergent that replaces synthetic preservatives by applying natural extracts.
In 2021, Aekyung received environmental labeling certification from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, a local eco-labeling agency, for the technology.
Aekyung also introduced the "Labccin kitchen care antibacterial detergent," which was released through the hygiene brand Labccin, and received green technology product certification.
The detergent with mustard seed oil as a major ingredient helps remove the grease from the tableware as well as clean bacterial residues.
