Golfzon to showcase portable golf simulator at CES 2023

Golfzon Co., a global indoor golf equipment maker, will participate in CES 2023 in Las Vegas to showcase its "Wave Play" product line, which targets global individual indoor golf lovers.

The golf simulator company set up a booth inside the Venetian Convention & Expo Center in Las Vegas to provide free experience opportunities for Wave Play products.

The lineup of Wave Play, a brand developed exclusively for overseas customers, is the first portable golf launch monitor among Golfzon items and boasts a battery capacity of more than four hours.

It was developed after more than five years of research efforts to compete with global suppliers such as Trackman and was first launched with the brand name "Vision Home" in the S.Korean market, which earned 800 million won ($629,200) in home shopping channels in 2022.

Equipped with radar technology-based sensors, it can create a personal golf-simulating environment both indoors or outdoors at a reasonable price.

Unlike existing products that were used mainly in B2B locations such as screen golf courses and lesson facilities, which cost more than tens of millions of won, prices of the portable Wave Play models have been lowered to less than millions of won to make it easy for consumer access.

Wave Play also offers 18-hole game software, Golfzon Vision, available on both Apple's iOS and Google's Android OS.

Through this, one can monitor and practice his or her golf shots on various devices such as the Galaxy Watch as well as PCs and smartphones. Infrared putting mats provide more accurate putting data.

Golfzon has not yet decided on the price of the product and countries of release.

The US market is most likely to be the first overseas destination for Wave Play to enter as demand for personal golf simulators is high there, according to a Golfzon official.

Golfzon runs 820 overseas stores and recorded a revenue of 48 billion won for the first three quarters of last year.
