South Korea's telecom giant KT Corp. on Tuesday said it launched a communication platform service (CPasS) that integrates and manages communication channels within a cloud environment.
Through the form of an application program interface (API), the service provides short and multimedia messaging services and a two-stage system for authentication messages.
Under an agreement with the American cloud communications company Vonage, KT also supports services for sending text messages overseas by Korean companies.
Updates are slated next month for the APIs of KakaoTalk Biz Message and app push channel.
"We will search for DX services that boost the productivity of corporate clients and push for cooperation with specialized companies," said Min Hye-byung, head of DX services of KT Enterprise.
