Lotte Mart said on Thursday that it would open its 50th store in Serpong, Indonesia. The store is 4,628 square meters, with more than 80% of the total area allocated to food sections.
A Lotte Mart official explained that it has prepared a store environment and items that can satisfy hotel, restaurant, and cafe operators, who are key customers in the commercial district, and high-income personal customers residing in the area.
In particular, a variety of Korean foods such as seasoned fried chicken, fried tofu sushi, and tteokbokki, which are main products of Food Innovation Lab, will be introduced. The first store of its own pizza brand, Cheese & Dough Indonesia, will also open at the Serpong location.
Lotte Mart plans to establish a network of logistics bases in Indonesia by increasing wholesale and retail stores in large cities and smaller stores along highways.
