Deeping Source Inc., an artificial intelligence (AI) analytics startup, turns real-life visual data into insight that can drive business decisions.
The company’s Founder and CEO Kim Tae-hoon said, “Our AI algorithm can automatically conceal people’s faces in a video and therefore analyze the rest of the data without infringing upon personal data.”
Kim was speaking at the AI Startup Roundtable held on Thursday, hosted by AI Future Forum, KB Investment and Capstone Partners.
The former Principal Engineer at Intel explained, “While there have been similar technologies in the past, those obscured more data than necessary and made it nearly impossible for an algorithm to analyze.”

Draph, another participating startup at the roundtable, auto-generates commercial visuals using AI.
The startup’s CEO Lee Joo-wan said, “Draph generates expert-level commercial photographs automatically in less than 10 seconds” and costs less than human photographers and photo editors.
Another AI startup Data B developed Pcanpi service, which auto-corrects grammatical errors in English writing.
The company stressed Pcanpi’s editing in English is better than similar services available abroad.
