Hyundai Mobis, the car parts manufacturing arms of Hyundai Motor Group, announced on Sunday it developed the world’s first variable display technology that moves a large curved screen.
The latest technology allows for an unprecedented viewing experience that stretches across both seats in the front, the company said.
“With the latest development, we are able to get the upper hand in the next-generation display market that is seeing continued demand,” the Hyundai arm explained.
The 34-inch screen applied with 6K high-resolution OLED panels can be adjusted up and down.
That is the largest size display for an in-car equipment so far, which requires the highest level of durability among other requirements.
