Jagalchi Market was a wonderful experience. I love fish and the vendors there were so nice, answering all my questions about the different kinds of fish. I don't think I will ever forget how kind and patient they were. My favorite fish is mackerel but this time I tried grilled cutlassfish, which was amazing. It was crispy outside and so tender inside.
Hamheung naengmyeon was also great. I’ve had makguksu (buckwheat noodles in broth) ) before but Hamhung naengmyeon (another variety of chilled noodle soup, usually made of potato or sweet potato starch) is spicier and chewier. I can't wait to tell my friends how great it was.
Next was the Samjin Eomuk History Museum. It was fascinating to visit Busan's oldest producer of the city's legendary fishcakes, and see how they are made. The fried pepper filled with eomuk (fish cake) was delicious.
I also enjoyed the range of souvenirs in the market. I usually buy souvenirs that show the color of the place I visit and this time I saw chocolates with the tower of Busan Tower engraved on them and a lot of cool stationery items. Busan had a lot of food and attractions to offer and I once again realized how awesome the city is.
