MezzoMedia, a digital marketing solutions company under South Korea's entertainment company CJ ENM Co., announced on Thursday that it acquired the digital advertising agency DBASE&.
MezzoMedia purchased 100% of DBASE&'s shares from CJ ENM last month.
This marks MezzoMedia's first acquisition of a subsidiary since its establishment.
With the acquisition, MezzoMedia aims to enhance its capabilities and expertise across business sectors while pursuing structural advancements to maximize synergy.
MezzoMedia will focus on its core business of digital media rep advertising and advertising platforms, while DBASE& will primarily operate in the agency business to strengthen its specialization.
The acquisition also solidifies MezzoMedia's ties as a subsidiary of CJ ENM.
In June, CJ ENM increased its stake in MezzoMedia from 51% to 67%.
