South Korea's Doosan Bobcat said on Friday that its construction equipment RogueX2 won the prize in the Design Concept category at the Red Dot Design Award 2024.
The Red Dot Award is one of the world's top three design awards, recognizing winners in three categories: product design, brand and communication design, and design concept.
The RogueX2 is a remote-operated and unmanned autonomous equipment designed with a bold removal of the cockpit to align with its unmanned concept.
It features energy-efficient wheels to optimize battery operation time and employs a new motor system that improves power and traction.
It uses lithium-ion batteries and electric drives, ensuring no pollutants are emitted even when the loader arm.
