GS Engineering & Construction Co. announced on Friday that it recently held the “1st Global HR Leaders Conference” attended by chief personnel officers from its overseas corporations at its Mumbai subsidiary in India.

This event was attended by 15 people from 6 countries, including Mumbai,  Australia, Vietnam, GS Inima (Spain), Danwood (Poland), and Elements Europe (UK). The conference was held over 4 days.

The conference was prepared to inform overseas subsidiaries of the personnel direction of GS E&C's headquarters and to share best practices for securing and nurturing talents in each country that each overseas subsidiary applied to suit the local situation, with the goal of establishing a locally optimized manpower management system.

Starting with an Indian design subsidiary in 2006, GS E&C currently operates more than 20 overseas corporations in 13 countries. More than 4,000 employees are working in its local overseas subsidiaries.
