Nursing caregiver matching startup Bosalpim succeeds in pre-series A funding
South Korea's senior citizen care service startup Bosalpim said on Wednesday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of pre-series A funding from Kakao Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Smilegate Investment, and Strong Ventures.

Bosalpim runs a platform called Care Partner that connects caregivers with senior citizens.

Unlike existing nursing matching services that provide only limited information such as the customer's residence, age, and gender, Care Partner provides a full range of information such as whether family members live together, service types requested, and diseases.

It also provides a service by which caregivers can find out whether there are any potential customers near their homes.

"We plan to add various elderly care services starting with matching caregivers," adding, "We will become a company that leads the digital transformation of the elderly care market," said Jang Han-sol, CEO of Bosalpim.

"The nursing care market is highly likely to grow centered on caregivers who can help the senior citizens who need digital healthcare services. Bosalpim will be active in a wide range of markets," said Kim Chi-won, managing director of Kakao Ventures, who led the funding round.
