South Korean startup accelerator D.Camp hosted this year’s last demo day on Saturday in collaboration with Seoul National University’s College of Medicine.

AI-powered medical startup Arpi Inc. won the Pre D.Day X SNU Medicine event, thanks to its ECG Buddy product. The company describes itself as a maker of accurate, robust and practical clinical AI.

The Seongnam-based startup’s ECG Buddy categorizes a person’s cardiac rhythm into 11 categories and looks for 10 types of disease and other possible conditions that would require a doctor's visit.

Arpi members include professors and nurses in emergency medicine.

In addition to ECG Buddy, the team is also working on new products, namely RaySnap and COMA.

Five medical startups each had the opportunity to make a five-minute pitch and answer questions during the event, hosted at the country's top-ranked university.
