South Korea’s gaming giant NCSOFT Corp. will distribute four popular titles in South Korea through a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC (SIE).
Purple is NCSOFT's PC and mobile cross-play platform that was developed and launched in 2019.
Purple had only serviced NCSOFT games, but with this business expansion, it will be reborn as a comprehensive game platform where users can purchase and enjoy externally made games.
According to NCSOFT, starting with Horizon Forbidden West on this day, the four titles will be released sequentially every week, and all will be playable only in South Korea.
