It plans to showcase content from the Land of the Morning Light patch for "Black Desert Online" and its new title "Crimson Desert."
During the Gamescom Showcase Opening Night Live (ONL), Pearl Abyss will reveal on August 22 new gameplay footage for its upcoming game Crimson Desert. Set in the expansive Pywel continent, Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game that follows the story of mercenaries fighting for survival.
Crimson Desert is being developed using Pearl Abyss' next-generation game engine, the Black Space Engine. The game is set to introduce a style of gameplay with intricate graphics, intense and fast-paced action, and rich and immersive content that has not been seen before.
At Gamescom, Black Desert will be showcased at the Samsung Electronics booth, presenting the popular "Land of the Morning Light" patch, which is well-received globally.
Previously launched in the global market in June, "Land of the Morning Light" received a high aggregate score of 81 on the global content rating site Metacritic, earning praise from overseas critics and gamers alike.
Pearl Abyss plans to deliver an exceptional gaming experience through collaboration with Samsung Electronics Co.
