South Korea’s Nexon Games Co. on Wednesday said the number of pre-registrants for its strategy role-playing game Blue Archive exceeded one million in China.
Blue Archive on March 16 received its Chinese service license and pre-booking began on March 31, with the number of reservations exceeding a million in 19 days.
On March 31 alone, the first day of pre-registration, about 300,000 signed up.
The game’s Chinese version will have the same name in Mandarin and be run by Shanghai Roaming Star.
“We will do our best to provide quality service,” said Kim Yong-ha, Nexon’s chief producer of the game.
