Kakao Games to launch Eversoul with 1.3 mn pre-orders

Kakao Games Corp., a game publishing unit of South Korean tech giant Kakao Corp., said on Dec. 23 it will launch the global service of mobile role-playing game Eversoul on Jan. 5, 2023.

Eversoul is a fantasy game, where the players act as saviors to lead spirits, combat enemies and manage their territories to save the world. Players can also communicate with the spirits they collect and develop relationships with elven. The game was created by Korean game developer Nine Ark Inc.

Kakao Games introduced Eversoul on Dec. 22 via its official YouTube channel alongside Nine Ark CEO Lee Kun's explanation of the game, including the overall concept, characters, dating simulation system and battle content.

The game will be simultaneously launched in Korea, Taiwan, North America and Europe and is garnering global game fans’ attention with more than 1.3 million pre-orders worldwide.
