The S.Korean bakery brand debuts on Honolulu's Bishop Street and aims to expand in local key tourist and commercial areas

Paris Baguette opens first store in Hawaii 

Paris Baguette, the bakery franchise owned by South Korea's SPC Group, announced on Monday that it opened its first store in Hawaii, the US.

The store located in the 1000 Bishop Building in the heart of downtown Honolulu, represents the 160th Paris Baguette store in the US.

Paris Baguette has disclosed plans to further penetrate the Hawaiian market by launching additional stores in key tourist and commercial locales, including Ala Moana and Pearl City.

"Hawaii is a global tourist destination that can play a strategic role in enhancing global brand recognition and image," a Paris Baguette source said. "We plan to continue our global business expansion by entering new regions in the future."
