CJ Foodville, the food subsidiary of South Korea's CJ Group, announced on Tuesday that its bakery brand Tous Les Jours has expanded its global footprint to over 400 stores in the US, China, Indonesia, and Mongolia.

In August, Tous Les Jours celebrated its expansion in the US, its first overseas market, by launching its 100th store near Manhattan, New York, in Bronxville.

The brand is on track to add four more U.S. outlets this month, pushing towards a year-end target of 120 and an ambitious aim of 1,000 US stores by 2030.

Capitalizing on its American market growth, a production facility in Georgia is in the pipeline, slated for completion in 2025.

The bakery continues its aggressive Asian rollout, resonating with local tastes and distinguishing itself as a premium brand in countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Mongolia.

The Indonesian arm reported a robust year-on-year sales jump of approximately 71%, with operating profits soaring around 740%.

In Mongolia, where it debuted in 2016, the brand boasts an annual sales growth exceeding 35%, punctuated by the opening of its flagship store, the 'Mongolia Global Park' branch, last June.

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic challenges, the brand has inaugurated over 40 new stores in China this year, edging closer to a 200-store count.
