The number of YouTube views of the group BTS' "Boy With Luv" music video exceeded 1.7 billion, the agency Big Hit Music said on Tuesday.
The music video, released in April 2019, surpassed 1.7 billion views the previous day.
This is BTS' second career record of 1.7 billion views after its hit song "Dynamite."
“Boy With Luv” is a punk pop genre song with the theme of "interest in you and love, the joy of small and simple love."
The song became popular after entering No. 8 on the US Billboard's main single chart Hot 100, staying on the chart for eight consecutive weeks, and playing more than 1 billion times for the first time in Korean on Spotify, the world's largest streaming platform.
BTS has a total of 39 music videos of more than 100 million views, including "Boy With Luv."
