Fifty Fifty longest K-pop girl group to stay on Billboard Hot 100

Fifty Fifty has stayed on the US Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks, setting a new record for the longest stay by a K-pop girl group.

According to the latest chart released on Tuesday, the group's hit "Cupid" dropped one spot from the previous week to No. 18 on the Hot 100.

The previous record for the longest stay for a K-pop girl group was eight weeks, achieved by Blackpink in 2020 with "Ice Cream," a collaboration with Selena Gomez.

Cupid peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Global (excluding the US), up one spot from the previous week.

It is the third time a K-pop group has topped this chart, following BTS and Blackpink.

"Fifty Fifty became the first girl group in the world to debut at No. 1 on this chart," said agency Attrakt. On the Global 200, they ranked second, up one spot from the previous week.

BTS' Suga's first official solo album, "D-DAY," debuted at No. 51 on the Billboard 200, the Billboard's main album chart, for the fourth consecutive week.
