BTS' 'Fake Love' video tops 1.2 bn views on YouTube

BTS’ “Fake Love” music video has surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube on Monday, its record label Big Hit Music announced. 

The music video was first released in May 2018. This is the sixth time BTS' music video has exceeded 1.2 billion views.

"Fake Love" is the title track of BTS' third album "LOVE YOURSELF: Tear".

At the time of its release, it entered the Billboard main single chart Hot 100 at No. 10 and succeeded in entering the chart for six weeks.

The third album, which contains “Fake Love”, entered the Billboard album chart, Billboard 200, and remained on the chart for 15 consecutive weeks.

With this song and album, BTS became the first South Korean singer to achieve the top 10 of Billboard 200 and Hot 100 at the same time in the first week of its release.

BTS has a total of 39 music videos with hundreds of millions of views, including “Fake Love”.
