Asset Owners Report

Government Employees Pension Service (GEPS) is a pension fund for South Korean government employees. It manages 10 trillion won in assets as of end-2023. Alternative assets make up 22%. It aims to increase the exposure to overseas alternative assets up to 33.3% by 2026. Overseas private equity makes up 31.8% of the alternative assets, while overseas private debt and offshore real estate respectively account for 22.7% and 13.6%. Global absolute return strategies and offshore infrastructure respectively make up 6.3% and 3.5% of the alternative assets.
