South Korea's Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI), a hydrogen fuel cell-making subsidiary of Doosan Corp., on Thursday announced a partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Electric Vehicle Team (MIT EVT) to jointly develop a hydrogen fuel cell-powered motorcycle.
The two-wheeled vehicle, designed and developed by MIT EVT, will incorporate DMI's hydrogen fuel cell power pack module, DM15.
The module is also easily customizable and can be applied to various mobility devices such as drone aircraft.
"This partnership is significant not only for expanding DMI's business scope but also for obtaining data that can further enhance the performance and durability of DM15," said a DMI official. "We will continue to make efforts to explore business areas and partners that can utilize hydrogen fuel cells."
