South Korean food and beverage giant Nongshim Co. said on Monday that it opened a Korean-style ramyun experience store K-Ramen Supermarket with the domestic store Korea Mart in Myeongdong, Seoul.
The new outlet, the company’s second ramyun-themed store, follows the launch of Neoguri Ramyun Shop in July at Hotel Skypark in the same district.
Located on the second floor of Korea Mart, the 60-square-meter K-Ramyun Supermarket blends a traditional supermarket with a snack bar, allowing customers to purchase and cook their preferred ramyun on-site using instant cooking machines.

The store also features large cup noodle-shaped dining stations and a character photo zone to enhance the visitor experience.
Nongshim is ramping up its marketing efforts to boost brand recognition among foreign tourists, capitalizing on Myeongdong’s status as a key tourist destination.
