South Korea's leading poultry processing firm, Harim Co., announced on Thursday the launch of its new street food brand, Melting Piece, in response to the surging demand for convenient food.
The company has unveiled 13 new products under the Melting Piece banner, including seven fried foods, three hamburger steak varieties and three flavors of hot dogs.
Available in convenient 300 to 600-gram packages that can be enjoyed as snacks or side dishes, the new offerings are sold online through popular platforms such as Coupang and Naver Store. Plans to distribute Melting Piece products to department stores are also underway.
"The convenience food market is expanding rapidly, and we aim to provide a wide range of products that cater to the tastes and preferences of consumers through Melting Piece," said a spokesperson for Harim Co.
