The Hyundai Seoul, South Korea's largest department store in Yoido, on December 21 opened a Louis Vuitton women's store, marking a significant addition to its luxury brand offerings.

This event is particularly noteworthy as it marks the first time The Hyundai Seoul, which commenced operations in February 2021, has welcomed one of the top-three luxury brands: Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

The Louis Vuitton store is strategically situated on the first floor of The Hyundai Seoul, making it easily accessible and visible to shoppers.

It offers an extensive range of women's products, including apparel, handbags, footwear, jewelry and other accessories.

Notably, this is Louis Vuitton's first comprehensive range women's store since their Shinsegae Dongdaegu store opened in 2017, marking a significant development after six years.

The store's prime location near the first-floor escalator also provides visitors with a view of the stunning 12-meter tall 'Waterfall Garden' artificial waterfall inside the store.

Aiming to attract the MZ generation, The Hyundai Seoul plans to reinforce its assortment of luxury products appealing to younger consumers at the Louis Vuitton store.

The store is expected to expand its offerings beyond standard fashion and jewelry items to include a wide array of lifestyle products, encompassing travel essentials and interior decor accessories.

The introduction of the Louis Vuitton store is anticipated to contribute positively to The Hyundai Seoul's ongoing growth.

Since its launch on February 26, 2021, the department store has achieved an impressive milestone, reaching over 1 trillion won ($770 million) in sales in just 33 months by January 1 of this year.
