Dior opens 2023 FW pop-up store in Galleria

South Korea’s Galleria Department Store has opened the first domestic Dior FW (fall/winter) collection pop-up store.

The company on Sunday said it will run the event through Sept. 10 for Dior’s FW 2023 collection at the store’s Luxury Hall in Seoul. Designed by Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, the collection features a reinterpretation of 1950s fashion.

The representative design with the motif of the Paris map (Plan de Paris) was inspired by scarves made by the label’s founder Christian Dior in the 1950s.

Also displaying exclusive products, the event shows a Lady Dior medium bag, 30 Montaigne Avenue small dress, D-Way heeled mules and Plan de Paris 90 square scarf exclusively in South Korea.

In March and April this year, the store held a pop-up store for Dior’s exclusive spring/summer 2023 collection.

“We will continue to actively attract and showcase pop-up stores for global luxury brands,” a Hanwha source said.
