South Korean conglomerates, including LG Electronics Inc., will introduce their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) visions and strategies at CES 2023, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics trade show to be held in Las Vegas in early January next year.
LG Electronics said on Monday that it will open a "Better Life for All" zone (ESG zone) that shows off company-wide ESG activities at this CES. This space is located inside the company's booth displaying major items such as TVs and home appliances.
ESG activities to create a better life for all are the main theme of the exhibition.
"We will actively promote the fact that eco-friendly elements have been applied to the entire life cycle of household appliances, from production to use, packaging, and disposal and collection," said a company official.
"We will also disclose our mid- to long-term strategy to expand the product range that anyone can use easily, regardless of cultural background or disability," he added.
