South Korea's Samsung Display said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dolby Laboratories to jointly promote Dolby's high dynamic range (HDR) image technology, Dolby Vision. and its dedicated to automotive organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).
With the MOU, the evaluation and certification process will be simplified for automakers adopting Samsung OLEDs with Dolby Vision, Samsung Display explained.
Samsung Display will showcase the next generation of automotive OLEDs with Dolby at CES 2025 in January next year.
