Samsung Electronics Co.'s air purifier filter technology obtained the New Excellent Technology (NeT) certification from the Korea Agency for Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, the company announced on Friday.
This filter was featured on Samsung Electronics' air purifier the Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, which was released in March.
The filter's hybrid electric dust collection technology generates high-concentration ions inside the air purifier, capturing fine dust and bacteria while minimizing the emission of ions and ozone to the outside.
The washable sterilizing dust collection filter features performance capabilities such as removing over 99.999% of ultrafine dust, sterilizing over 99% of collected bacteria and viruses, and maintaining ozone generation below 0.01 ppm.
NeT is a system that recognizes the innovation and excellence of technologies that are developed for the first time domestically or that have innovatively improved existing technologies.
