Samsung showcases AI TV techs in SE Asia

Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Wednesday that it held its 2024 Southeast Asia Tech Seminar in Bangkok, Thailand from April 23 to 24.

The company showcased its 2024 TV lineup, featuring AI-powered technologies for the 2024 Neo QLED 8K and Samsung OLED TVs to audio and visual tech experts.

Since 2012, Samsung has been organizing tech seminars globally, targeting media and industry experts in the video and audio sectors.

During the event, Samsung presented the 2024 Neo QLED 8K, incorporating the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor.

This processor enhances low-resolution videos to 8K quality.

The company showcased its Samsung OLED TVs, featuring Glare-Free technology certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), ensuring a superior viewing experience by reducing screen reflections.

Another highlight from the seminar was the introduction of the Music Frame, a frame-shaped speaker that allows users to insert their desired photos, transforming them into decorative pieces.

Samsung has strengthened its software and hardware for TV security, with its Samsung Knox achieving Common Criteria certification in February, recognized by 31 countries.

Samsung, which launched a tech seminar in Frankfurt, Germany in February, plans to continue these seminars in other regions, including Latin America, to introduce and discuss its latest technologies and products.
