Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Monday that it released its 2024 lineup of smart monitors, focusing on enhancing home life usability.
The new products include the M8 (32-inch, up to 400 nits) with UHD resolution and equipped with an artificial intelligence (AI) processor, the M7 (43-inch, 23-inch, up to 300 nits) with UHD resolution, and the M5 (32-inch, 27-inch, up to 250 nits) with FHD resolution.
The M8 features a 4K AI upscaling function that enhances the quality of low-resolution content to 4K.
Additionally, it incorporates the Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro, which analyzes content background sound and voice, detects ambient noise, and amplifies only the voice, making dialogue clear even in noisy environments.
Connectivity between smartphones and various Galaxy devices has also been expanded. When connected to a smart monitor, Galaxy Watch users can enjoy personalized workouts by viewing real-time health data on the monitor through the "Activity Tracker" feature while watching exercise content, TV, or online video services (OTT).
Connecting the smart monitor M8 to Galaxy Buds enables users to utilize the 360 audio mode, which detects the user's head movement to enhance sound immersion.
The dedicated accessory Moving Stand allows easy mobility without worrying about wear and tear or noise.
With just an Internet connection, users can enjoy various content services on the monitor without separate devices.
Equipped with smart TV applications, users can directly stream preferred OTT content and watch real-time broadcasts and movies for free with Samsung TV Plus.
It also supports gaming-related content through the Gaming Hub without a PC or console device.
