Galaxy Tab Active 5 is optimized for enterprise customers who work in the field, including transportation, logistics, and construction.
It met the demanding MIL-STD 810G tests. MIL-STD-810G is the US Department of Defense Test Method Standard, Environmental Engineering Considerations, and Laboratory Tests.
The tablet also got IP68 ratings from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), showing its water and dust resistance.
The tablet packs a 5,050mAh battery for up to 15 hours of internet use on LTE connections. It comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, familiar from the Galaxy Tab S9 Fan Edition (FE).
Samsung Electronics first introduced the Galaxy Tab Active in 2014 and has been releasing new models in this series every two or three years.
