LG Elec named best top-load washer in US

LG Electronics Inc. 's washing machines have been selected as the Best High-Efficiency Top-Load Washers by Consumer Reports in the US, according to the company. 

LG Electronic's washers scored over 80 points in the evaluation, securing all three top spots.

In particular, they received high marks for their washing performance and water efficiency.

They were recognized as a sustainable product based on their outstanding energy efficiency and advanced technology that considers the environment.

All LG Electronics' washers that ranked in the list are Green Choice products.

Consumer Reports directly tests water and energy efficiency, brand reliability, and the softness of laundry after washing, and awards the "Green Choice" label to top-performing products.

"The best HE top-load washers in our ratings all hail from LG, a brand that receives a top-notch reliability rating and an above-average owner satisfaction rating in our member surveys," Consumer Reports said.

"All three machines hit our washing and water-efficiency tests out of the park," it added. 

The US washing machine market is divided into premium drums, top-loads, and agitators. 

LG Electronics is gaining popularity in all washing machine categories based on its core component technology, such as the artificial intelligence (AI) direct drive motor.

Consumer Reports ranks products based on surveys of actual consumers and its tests of various products, including appliances sold in the US.

This evaluation and ranking are important references for American consumers when choosing products.
