Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Tuesday that it opened a flagship premium experience store Samsung BKC in Mumbai, India.
Samsung BKC, spread across 732㎡, in Jio World Plaza, is located in Mumbai’s central business hub of Bandra Kurla Complex and will showcase Samsung’s top-of-the-line premium products through unique curated experiences and real-life scenarios.
This new store showcases Samsung’s widest premium portfolio ranging from smartphones to televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and other products, leveraging the power of Samsung’s AI ecosystem.
Samsung BKC will redefine the flagship experience for customers with the latest Galaxy S24 series. The store will offer not only Galaxy S24 special edition color options but also free first-of-its-kind gen AI-enabled personalization of their latest Galaxy AI smartphone.
There are eight lifestyle zones in Samsung BKC. In Hobby Room, customers can enjoy an exhilarating and immersive mobile gaming experience on an 85-inch 8K QLED TV, gaming monitors, and laptops.
Home Office Zone features a cutting-edge home office setup using big screens and smart monitors. In Connected Kitchen, customers can learn how to use Samsung products to manage and prepare healthy food as well as effective visitor management.
Each zone is integrated with Samsung's Internet of Things (IoT) platform SmartThings, enabling a multi-device connectivity experience.
Customers can personalize their experience by customizing products such as The Frame, The Freestyle, and Bespoke appliances according to their preferences, and even create mobile product accessories.
Samsung BKC provides an integrated online and offline service that links the store with Samsung.com, offering a seamless experience for customers from exploring product information to consultation, purchase, and service.
Visitors can scan QR codes within the store using their smartphones to access information and details about each zone, and Samsung.com.
Additionally, Samsung introduced a service in India that allows customers who make purchases online to pick up the products at the store for the first time. The store also offers individual consultations, from product purchase to service, for online reservation customers.
In conjunction with the opening of Samsung BKC, the company is launching the new Galaxy S24 series to expand sales in the Indian market, which has emerged as a technological powerhouse.
The customer experience design of Samsung BKC reflects the interests and culture of local customers, including personal work and hobbies in large Indian families, watching popular content like Bollywood movies, and addressing issues related to energy consumption.
The store also offers the Color Me program, which recreates the Indian festival of colors Holi, where people smear or sprinkle various colored powders or water on each other.
This program is implemented on a large LED curved screen and smartphones, presenting the vibrant festival experience.
The store regularly hosts events and workshops featuring experts such as chefs, artists, trainers, and gamers.
