The smartphone Galaxy S22 Ultra is one of three products by Samsung Electronics included on a list of this year's best inventions by the American magazine Time.

Time on Friday on its 'Best Inventions of 2022' list named Samsung's flagship handset S22 Ultra, which was released early this year, as the best smartphone with a stylus pen.

The magazine said the model was chosen due to the successful and creative decision to include the pen function of the S22 Ultra's predecessor series Note.

In user experience, camera and performance, Time said the combination of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series' strengths produced an even stronger line.

The S22 Ultra can also take the best photos and videos, it added, especially at night.

As the first Galaxy model to have a 4 nanometer processor and 6.8-inch display, Time said, the S22 Ultra is the best Android smartphone with powerful performance for work or daily life.

Time also named to its list the Samsung Electronics portable projector The Freestyle and eco-friendly solar cell remote control.

Calling The Freestyle 'a mug-sized projector' designed with high portability, Time said, "Swivel it 180 degrees to any surface and the device's smart calibration feature will automatically analyze the environment, such as wall color and lighting conditions, to create a stunning HD picture."

On Samsung's eco-friendly remote, the magazine said attention went not only toward the function of solar panel charging but also charging through other means like radio frequencies from sources like Wi-Fi routers.

Raising the number of items from 100 to 200 this year for the first time, Time posts its annual list of new products and ideas that have changed daily life for consumers.
