SK Signet Inc., the electric vehicle (EV) charging arm of SK Inc., announced on Monday that it will supply the upcoming G20 summit with 37 ultra-fast charging posts.

The upcoming meeting is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.

Under the motto of “Recover Together, Recover Stronger,” 64 ultra-fast charging posts have been installed throughout the venue and SK Signet is providing more than half of the total.

The SK Signet charging posts will assist in the charging of vehicles used by dignitaries from 20 nations.

The charging posts provided to Bali are customized for local power facility conditions. After the summit wraps up, the posts will be relocated to different parts of Indonesia.

Back in 2010, SK Signet installed 200kW EV charging posts at Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul for the fifth G20 summit.

“We will cement our leading position in Asia by providing total charging solutions for new mobility beyond EVs -- to include Urban Air Mobility, e-Boats, and e-Vessels,” SK Signet’s Chief Marketing Officer Joon Park said.
