Southeast Asia-based e-commerce platform Qoo10 Pte. announced on Tuesday that it launched K-Avenue, a sales channel for Korean products, on the newly established e-commerce platform Wish+.
Wish+ is a unified platform integrating Asia-based Qoo10 and Wish, which operates primarily in North America and Europe.
It is expected to be a forward base for Korean products to penetrate global markets.
K-Avenue offers products in categories such as food, beauty, and fashion. Brand products listed on Qoo10 will also be featured in special deals.
Inquiries from domestic brands seeking to expand exports to North America are also increasing.
Qoo10 said it's in talks with local subsidiaries and distributors of major food companies such as CJ, Daesang Corp., and Haitai Confectionery Co., to enter the platform.
The company also collaborates with local governments to export regional specialties abroad.
