Netmarble's Marblex listed on Zaif in Japan

Marblex, a blockchain subsidiary of the South Korean game developer Netmarble Corp., announced on Thursday that it has listed its cryptocurrency Marblex on the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Zaif.

Marblex aims to aggressively target the Japanese Web 3.0 market with its cryptocurrency, which incorporates blockchain technology. Web 3.0 represents an online ecosystem where individuals, rather than platform operators, own content utilizing blockchain technology.

Marblex entered the Japanese Web 3.0 market by investing in the YGG Japan blockchain game community in January this year. It also launched in June digital wallet services in partnership with YGG Japan.

Marblex received in July exchange listing approval from Japan's Financial Services Agency for its cryptocurrency "MBX." This marks the first instance of a South Korean cryptocurrency used in blockchain games receiving approval in Japan.
