WeMade said on Wednesday that it would sign a non-fungible token (NFT) partnership with Zhongchuanyuezhong Cultural Development Co. which operates a digital asset exchange in China.

The virtual asset exchange is a subsidiary of China Cultural Media Group, directly under the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The two companies plan to use the Legend of Mir II intellectual properties (IPs) to produce NFT products and sell them on The New Cultural and Creative Platform.

The Legend of Mir II, WeMade's most popular game title, has steadily gained popularity ever since it entered the Chinese market in 2001.
