Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. announced on Monday that it secured two luxury residence construction projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The projects, Creek Waters 1 and 2, are to be built in the Creek Harbour area, a new residential hub in Dubai. The total construction cost amounts to $223 million.
The client is Emaar, the largest real estate development company in the UAE, known for owning the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
Creek Waters 1 and 2 each consist of two basement levels and 52 above-ground floors, totaling 450 and 455 units, respectively.
Since its first entry into Dubai in 1997, Ssangyong E&C has secured a total of 14 projects, totaling 3.9 trillion won ($2.9 billion).
