South Korea's HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Co., the industrial affiliate of HD Hyundai Co., said on Thursday that it held discussions with Ukrainian officials, including Vasyl Shkurakov, the First Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, as well as other railway representatives.

The talks, focusing on potential reconstruction projects, took place during the Ukrainian delegation's visit to HD Hyundai's Ulsan campus on June 13, coinciding with their attendance at the 50th-anniversary session of the Ministerial Conference of the Organisation for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD), hosted by South Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.

During their stay, the delegation explored various aspects of HD Hyundai, including HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. shipyard and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment production facilities.

Key representatives from HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, including Vice President Moon Jae-young and Executive Vice President Park Chan-hyeok, highlighted the company's local dealer network in Ukraine and their technical support services, stressing the need for cooperation from the Infrastructure Ministry and government agencies for potential future reconstruction projects.

"We are committed to establishing a robust consultation framework with the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry, fostering information exchange, and promoting reconstruction projects that can be mutually beneficial in the future, particularly in the area of construction equipment supply business," a company official stated.
