South Korea's two IT firms, Bespin Global and STEG, have teamed up to jointly develop a cloud operation management platform.

Bespin Global said on Tuesday that it has signed a business agreement with STEG to promote cloud-based business innovation through collaboration in the cloud management platform and IT service management markets.

Bespin Global specializes in cloud platforms from Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, while STEG offers service management solutions.

Joint projects related to hybrid clouds will be promoted, and a mutual support system will be established based on the agreement. Bespin Global's multi-cloud management platform OpsNow360 and STEG's IT service management solution E-Gene will also be integrated into a joint business model.

Chang Insoo, president of Bespin Global Korea, commented on the growing demand for multi- and hybrid clouds and customers' concerns about the increasing complexity of resources, cost management, and operations.

"We are confident that our cooperation based on Bespin Global's cloud management expertise and STEG's IT service management capabilities will help our clients to accelerate digital transformation," Jang said.
