NHN Dooray, a provider of online collaboration tools, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HandySoft, Inc., South Korea's leading groupware solution company, to jointly develop advanced collaboration tools.
The two companies aim to combine each other's strengths to develop innovative solutions.
The demand for combining collaboration tools and groupware services into a single package is growing among public sector customers, and the two firms expect to develop services and products that meet this demand.
NHN Dooray, a spin-off of South Korean tech giant NHN Corp., offers cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) for project-based tasks.
Since its official launch in September 2021 under the brand Dooray, the company has experienced rapid growth due to the increased need for contactless collaboration tools during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We expect that it will be an opportunity to further strengthen Dooray's versatility and convenience and provide Dooray to more customers in cooperation with HandySoft, which provides various groupware solutions including electronic payment," said Baek Chang-yeol, CEO of NHN Dooray.
